Shockwave is an acoustic sound wave that carries high energy to a painful or tight spot. This energy provokes healing - tissue regeneration, elimination of calcification, pain relief, muscle relaxation, and reversal of chronic inflammation. Our practitioners will work closely with you to provide you with a treatment with a patient centred approach that is comfortable and effective. Common conditions that are often treated are heel spurs, tendonopathy/tendonosis, epicondylitis, MCL or LCL knee injuries, ITB syndrome, pirifomis syndrome, calcific tendonopathy, achilles injuries, or any chronically tight muscles.
